Two GTA schools evacuated following threats: “

Two schools in the Greater Toronto area were evacuated today while police investigated threats made to its staff and students.
Police have since deemed both schools safe for return.
Officers were called to W.G. Davis Senior Public School in Brampton at 8:30 a.m. this morning. Investigators would not discuss the nature of the threat. As a precaution, staff members and students were moved to The Ken Giles Recreation Centre down the street on Bartley Bull Parkway, Sgt. Zahir Shah said.
A few hours later, staff members at Herbert H. Carnegie Public School in Maple called police after a message about a bomb was found on a bathroom wall. The school was evacuated but officers cleared the school within an hour.
