Man tells Peel police he killed daughter; 16-year-old girl fights for life: “A 16-year-old Mississauga girl is fighting for her life in hospital, after a man called Peel Regional Police this morning saying he had killed his daughter.
‘At 7:55 we received a call on 911 from a man indicating that he had killed his daughter,’ said Peel Police Constable J.P. Valade.
Police found the victim at an address on Longhorn Trail, in the’ Hurontario and Eglinton area.
The girl is in critical condition, and Peels homicide squad is monitoring the probe.
‘‘A 57-year-old male was taken into custody at the scene,’’ said Const. Valade.
